# Data licence > GPU Ninja's catalogue data is CC BY 4.0. Use it for anything, including commercial apps, as long as you credit GPU Ninja. URL: https://gpuninja.com/legal/data-licence Effective: 2026-10-08 ## Summary The data GPU Ninja publishes is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/) (CC BY 4.0). You may copy, share and adapt it, for any purpose, including commercially, as long as you give credit. The OpenAPI document (https://gpuninja.com/docs/api) that describes the API is licensed separately, under the Apache License 2.0 (https://www.apache.org/licenses/LICENSE-2.0), so you may generate and distribute clients from it. ## What the licence covers - The JSON API under `https://gpuninja.com/api/v1/`, including the compact search index and the change feed. - The plain-text (`.txt`) companions of catalogue pages. - The catalogue data shown on gpuninja.com: specifications, dimensions, compatibility results, prices and benchmark figures. ## What it does not cover - GPU Ninja's name and logo. Crediting GPU Ninja does not let you use the name or logo in a way that suggests GPU Ninja endorses you or your product. - Third-party material. Source links point to manufacturers, retailers and benchmark publishers, and their pages remain theirs. An AI model's own licence, shown in a model's `license` field, is the model publisher's licence, not ours. - Human-written content. Blog posts, documentation and legal pages are not part of the dataset. - Paid services. Any future paid API or data product is governed by its own terms. ## How to give credit Name GPU Ninja, link to the site, and name the licence, for example: ``` Data: [GPU Ninja](https://gpuninja.com), [CC BY 4.0](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/) ``` Put the credit wherever your users would reasonably see it, such as an about page, a footer or a data-sources screen. If you change the data, say that you changed it. ## No warranty The data is provided as is. Specifications, prices and compatibility results can be wrong or out of date; each record carries its sources and a last-verified time so you can check.
