Benchmark version 1
What the verdicts mean
- Good to go: runs as planned, with at least 10% of your GPU's memory (and at least 1 GB) to spare, and fast enough with room to spare.
- Tight: runs, but not as planned — a shorter context, fewer sequences, a smaller batch, little memory to spare, or little or no speed to spare.
- Won't run: doesn't fit in memory even at its smallest.
How this works
- Memory bandwidth copies one large buffer into another, again and again, and counts every byte read and every byte written, in GB/s.
- FP32 compute runs long chains of fused multiply–adds in 32-bit floating point on every core, in TFLOPS.
- FP16 compute runs the same chains in 16-bit floating point, where your GPU and browser support it.
- Results are measured in this browser and read lower than native tools: the browser checks every command, and the GPU is shared with everything else on the machine.
- Each test runs a few warm-up rounds, then nine timed trials. The result is the middle trial, with the range of all nine.
- A browser can't measure how much memory your GPU has, so the verdict uses the memory you give.
- Your results and the memory you enter are kept in this tab until you close it, and never sent anywhere.
- Verdict rules v1, estimator v1
