What an account is for#
Your GPU Ninja account lives at https://app.gpuninja.com. You need one for two things:
- The MCP server at
https://mcp.gpuninja.com/mcp, which Claude's Connectors Directory lists. See MCP server and Claude. - Managing your daily digest subscription from an account page. You can also subscribe to the digest, and unsubscribe, without ever signing in.
You do not need an account to use the website, the JSON API, the ChatGPT connector or the desktop app. Registration identifies you and gives you your own usage limits on the MCP server. It is not a gate on GPU Ninja's data, which stays open to everyone through the public API.
An account is a verified email address and nothing more. There are no passwords. The account and the digest subscription share that one address.
Signing up and signing in#
Signing up and signing in are the same form, at https://app.gpuninja.com/signin. The "Register" link on the website and the sign-in step in Claude both lead there.
- Enter your email address. The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, a bot check that usually completes without you doing anything. It needs JavaScript.
- Choose whether to receive the daily digest. The choice only counts if this creates a new account. See The digest checkbox.
- We email you a sign-in link from
signin@gpuninja.com, with the subject "Your GPU Ninja sign-in link". The email says which browser, operating system and country the request came from, and when. The link expires after 15 minutes and works once. - Open the link. In the same browser, you are signed in straight away.
If no account exists for the address, opening the link creates one. The response to the form is the same whether or not an account already exists, so the form never reveals who has an account.
If you didn't ask for a sign-in link, ignore the email. Nothing happens unless the link is used.
Signing in on another device#
You can request the link on one device and open it on another, such as requesting it on your laptop and opening the email on your phone. While you wait, the original tab shows a waiting page that checks again every 5 seconds.
When you open the link in a different browser or on a different device, nothing happens straight away. The page asks what you want to do, and shows which browser, operating system and country the request came from, and when:
- Approve sign-in on that device signs in the browser where you asked for the link. Go back to it, and it continues on its own.
- Sign in on this device instead signs you in where you opened the link.
Only approve a request you recognise. Because opening the link never signs anyone in by itself, a mail scanner that follows links can't use up your link or sign in for you.
How long you stay signed in#
A browser stays signed in for up to 30 days, or until it has not been used for 14 days, whichever comes first. You can sign out at any time from your account page.
If the sign-in email doesn't arrive#
- Check your spam or junk folder.
- Each address can be sent at most 5 emails an hour and 10 a day, counting sign-in links and digest confirmation emails together. Past that, the form still says an email is on its way, but none is sent. Wait, then try again.
- If the page says "We couldn't send the email", or asks you to try later, try again in a few minutes.
- If the page says "This form is out of date", reload the sign-in page and submit it again.
- If a link says it "has expired or was already used", request a new one. Links last 15 minutes and work once.
If you still have no email, contact support.
The digest checkbox#
The sign-in form asks whether you want the daily digest. The choice only applies when the form creates a new account. The checkbox's starting state depends on where you are:
| Where your request comes from | Checkbox starts |
|---|---|
| The EEA (the EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway) or the UK | Unticked |
| A country we can't determine | Unticked |
| Anywhere else | Ticked |
Your location comes from the country Cloudflare reports for your request when the form is shown. Whatever the starting state, the choice is yours, and we record what you chose, what you were shown, and when.
Signing in to an existing account never changes your subscription, whatever the checkbox says. That includes an account created by confirming a digest subscription from the website.
Subscribing or unsubscribing never affects your access to the MCP server.
Subscribing to the digest without signing in#
The sign-up form at the bottom of the home page, the buyer's guide and every digest page subscribes you to the digest directly. So does the form at https://app.gpuninja.com/subscribe. These forms use Cloudflare Turnstile too, and they use double opt-in:
- Enter your email address and submit the form.
- We send a confirmation email from
signin@gpuninja.com, with the subject "Confirm your GPU Ninja daily digest subscription". - Open the link and confirm. The link lasts 48 hours.
Nothing is sent to you until you confirm. If you never confirm, you are never subscribed. If you are already subscribed, confirming changes nothing. If you had unsubscribed, confirming subscribes you again.
Confirming creates an account for your address if there isn't one, but it doesn't sign you in. You can sign in later with the same address to manage the subscription.
If your mail provider scans links before you open them, the scan can't confirm your subscription for you. When you open the link in a different browser from the one you subscribed in, you'll see a Confirm subscription button to press.
Unsubscribing#
You can stop the digest at any time, in any of these ways:
- One click from your mail app. Every digest carries standard one-click unsubscribe headers, so mail apps that show an "Unsubscribe" button next to the sender can unsubscribe you directly.
- The Unsubscribe link in every digest's footer. It opens a page with an Unsubscribe button. Afterwards, the page offers to resubscribe you in case it was a mistake.
- The Manage subscription link in every digest's footer. It shows whether you are subscribed, with your address partly hidden, and lets you switch.
- Your account page, where the digest has an on/off toggle.
None of the links in the email needs you to sign in. Unsubscribing takes effect at once: even while that day's 14:00 UTC digest is going out, your copy is not sent unless it was already on its way to you when you unsubscribed.
Unsubscribing keeps your account. To remove your address altogether, delete your account.
Your account page#
Sign in and go to https://app.gpuninja.com/account. It shows:
- your email address and digest status, with a toggle;
- your connected apps;
- Download my data and Delete my account.
Connected apps#
When you connect an MCP client such as Claude to GPU Ninja, you approve it on a consent page. It shows the name the app calls itself, where its details come from (its host, or "registered automatically"), the address it will return you to, and what it is asking for: to use GPU Ninja's read-only MCP tools as you, and to stay connected. If an app can only return to your own computer, the page warns you.
Each app you approve appears under connected apps, with its name, its host (or "registered automatically" for apps that registered themselves), when you connected it, and when it was last used. If you have more than 50, the page shows the 50 most recently used and says how many there are in total.
Press Revoke to disconnect an app. The app can no longer renew its access, and any access it already holds expires within 15 minutes. To use it again, connect it again.
Each account can make up to 60 MCP tool calls and 300 requests a minute, and 5,000 tool calls a day; the daily count resets at 00:00 UTC. See MCP server for the details.
Downloading your data#
Download my data gives you a JSON file named gpuninja-account-export-YYYY-MM-DD.json, dated in UTC. It contains everything we hold that refers to you:
- your account record: your address, when the account was created, verified and last signed in to, how you signed up, your sign-up country and your digest status;
- your consent history: every digest opt-in and opt-out, with where it happened, what you were shown and which versions of the wording and privacy policy applied;
- your sessions;
- your connected apps, including ones you revoked that have not yet been purged;
- your daily MCP tool-call counts for the last 30 days.
It contains no sign-in links, tokens, keys or hashes. There are no passwords to include.
Deleting your account#
- On your account page, choose Delete my account. If you signed in more than 15 minutes ago, we ask you to sign in again with a fresh link first.
- Type
deleteand confirm.
Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. It removes your account, your digest subscription, your sessions, any unused sign-in links, your connected apps and your usage counts. Once it has completed, we email your address a notice, with the subject "Your GPU Ninja account has been deleted", saying what was deleted and what is kept.
A few things are kept, for limited periods:
- Consent records (when you opted in or out of the digest, and the deletion itself) are kept in pseudonymised form for 2 years from the deletion, so we can show that we only emailed people who agreed. They are linked by a keyed hash of your address, not the address itself, and the notice gives the date they are removed.
- Backups of the database roll off automatically within 30 days. If a backup is ever restored, deletions are applied again.
- Our email provider's suppression list. If mail to your address bounced or was marked as spam, Cloudflare's email service may keep the address on its suppression list. We remove it on request.
Any app you had connected loses access within 15 minutes. If you later sign up again with the same address, you get a new, empty account.
If you can no longer receive email at your address, contact support. We will verify the request another way, as described in the privacy policy, and can export or delete your data for you.
Privacy#
Your account data is held only by GPU Ninja's account service at app.gpuninja.com, in a Cloudflare database, and Cloudflare is the only company that processes it for us. Secrets such as sign-in links and session cookies are stored only as one-way hashes. The MCP server sees only a pseudonymous user ID, never your email address. Digest emails have no tracking pixels and no open or click tracking: their links are plain links. For everything we hold and how long we keep it, see the privacy policy.
